Joséphine Thomachot Gold Cello Bow-SOLD

Joséphine Thomachot is born in 1986 in Paris. She first started to study geologic engineering for 6 years. Back in France in 2011, during a visit at her father residence in the south of France, she discovered that she loved bow making after having planed her first stick. Stéphane, her father, taught her the profession, then she kept learning with Noel Burke in Ireland and other bow makers as Emmanuel Carlier, Arthur Dubroca, Alexandre Aumont…
She get in 2016, a certificate of merit for a viola bow and one in 2018 for a violin bow at the VSA competition. Nowadays, she has her workshop in Paris working with her apprentice Gabrielle Cattelain.
