Thomas Giquet began his apprenticeship in violin making at the National violin making school of Mirecourt. Following his graduation, he worked as a luthier in Lyon in the Aouat and Rouveyre’s workshop. After 5 years of instruments and bows maintenance and repairs, he left Lyon to enter another famous workshop, Desmarchelier-Le Canu in Lille. He worked solely on maintenance, high end restoration of bows and bow making during his 5 years in Lille. Backed by this strong experience, he decided to move to Brittany, his favorite region, and focus on bowmaking since 2021.
