Hanna Jin (Violin)
Hanna Jin has been teaching Violin at Los Angeles Music Academy for over 2 years, and is one of our most popular teachers. She is from Korea, and graduated from the Sun Hwa Arts middle school and high school in Seoul. She began her violin studies at age five, and earned her Bachelor degree in Violin Performance from University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music under professor Won-Bin Yim.
Hanna attended Aspen International Music Festival in 2009, and Italy Spoleto music festival in 2010 and 2011. Her solo performances include appearances with Starling Showcase while in college. She has performed with the Charis Christian Chamber ensemble of Irvine, California, and LA Sinfonietta Orchestra in Los Angeles. She is an active member of MTAC (Music Teachers’ Association of California) also SYMF (Southwestern Youth Music Festival).
As a teacher, Hanna uses the Suzuki method, and draws from other methods as well. In 2012 she coached the beginning violin group at Hope Academy in Los Angeles, and she is currently coaching the Bliss Youth Chamber Orchestra, where she is Concertmistress. She also plays at New Life Vision Church. We are proud and happy to have Hanna at Los Angeles Music Academy.
